1. De La Salle
2. Heritage
3. Antioch
4. Deer Valley
5. Pittsburg
6. Clayton Valley
7. Ygnacio Valley
8. Liberty
9. Freedom

*the 2 spot should be interesting to see who gets it because antioch, deer valley, and heritage are all capable of getting it. Pittsburg could be a sleeper if they are able to keep all their players for a whole season.

any thoughts? top players for this league?

De La Salle will probably go undefeated in league this year. There just isn't anyone ready at this point to beat them. Its difficult to rate teams like Liberty, YV, Deer Valley and Antioch, since they all have new coaches implementing new systems. Maybe that's why DLS and Heritage were picked at the top. Besides having solid programs, their coaches have been in the BVAL longer than the rest.

Who will be their competition in NCS and State? Too bad Archbishop Mitty is not in Division 1, that would be a good game.

another great player is Jordan Knox of Heritage

Why are people picking Heritage to finish in second place? They were a .500 team last year.

how do u think heritage will do this year, since last year being their 1st year of varsity they went .500 and beating some teams they shouldnt have

I think its too hard to make predictions. Last year the CC Times picked Heritage to finish in last place in the BVAL. They finished in 5th place, I believe, behind DLS, Antioch, Pittsburg, and Clayton Valley. However, this is a new year. Pittsburg was picked to win the BVAL in footbal, but they are 0-2 right now. You just never know what's going to happen.
