Here is some info on this camp that occurred a couple of weeks ago:

The 2008 Headliner Tryout Camps kicked off in the Bay Area, where over hundreds of California’s best rising high school players came out to prove who the best of the best in the Bay Area really was. While it was a hard fought two days of competitive basketball for all that attended, the following are the lucky few who took center stage and earned an invite to the prestigious Reebok national events, Reebok All American Camp and Breakout Underclass Camp.

Bay Area
Reebok Headliner Camp Top Performers

Reebok All American Camp Selections

Chris Brew 6’3 SG 2009 St Mary’s HS (Berkley, Ca)
The top player in camp. Very athletic. Got to the rim whenever he wanted and when he did 9 times out of 10 he finished with a dunk. Good Defender, and shoots the 3 ball. Committed to UCSB

Will Cherry 6’1 PG 2009 McClymonds HS (Oakland, Ca)
Very savvy guard. Great on the defensive end, had a fearless attitude all weekend. He is winner and you see it on the court through his play. He was unselfish and knew how to take over a game

Lucas Devenneay 6’8 F/C 2009 Piner HS (Santa Rosa, Ca)
Strong aggressive post player. The biggest player at the camp dominated whoever was on him. Also can step out and hit the 18 footer.

Davion Berry 6’4 SG 2009 Hayward HS (Hayward, Ca)
The best shooter at camp. Every shoot he took it either went in or rolled in and out. His range at camp was from18-23 feet. He used his length on the defensive end to bother smaller guards, and he used he’s height to shoot over shorter guards.
Reebok Breakout Underclassman Camp Selections
Josiah Turner 6’1 PG 2011 Sacramento HS (Sacramento)
Smooth, is the best word to describe Josiah at camp. He got where ever he wanted whenever he wanted all weekend. Played nowhere near his 2011 classification. He shoots it, defends it, passed it, and ran his team well all weekend.

Jabari Brown 6’3 SG 2011 Salesian HS (San Pablo, CA)
Strong and savvy. Good shooter as well as good off the dribble. Very high basketball IQ. He just found was to score all weekend.

Brandon Ashley 6’7 F 2012
Very long and skilled for his age. Can step out and face up and knock down the 15 footer. Crafty around the basket made shoots on stronger and more physical players at camp.

T.J Taylor 5’8 PG 2011 Oakland HS (Oakland, Ca)
Shoot it well as well has a good feel for the game. Great competitor.

Dominique Taplin 6’1 W 2011 Oakland HS (Oakland, Ca)
Athletic wing that got to the rim often. Long and active, good defender played hard all weekend.
Cody Kyle 6’2 CG 2010 Rocklin HS (Rocklin, Ca)
Crafty guard that made plays. Shoots it good, strong and physical at the guard spot.

Reebok Breakout Underclass Camp Alternates:

Freddy Tagaloa 6’7 C 2012
A LOAD. Only in the 8th grade he is already 6’7 235. Very light on his feet and physical for his age. Great rebounder.

Nick Capiti 5’10 PG 2010
Strong and physical Nick played very consistent all weekend. He didn’t take a play off and played with a purpose. Ran his team very well
