Mike Montgomery, a four-time Pacific-10 Conference Coach of the Year and John R. Wooden "Legends of Coaching" Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, has been named head men's basketball coach at California, Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour announced Saturday.
