The only team i've seen play lately, is Heritage over at Tice Valley. They look like they'll have a pretty decent starting line-up, but they're reserves look a bit shaky.

Anyone have insight on Heritage and the rest of the BVAL?

I think Heritage is the only BVAL team playing in the Tice Valley league. That's good for Heritage as the other BVAL teams won't get a look at them for a while. Heritage has a couple of seniors, Moffatt and Knox who are very good. The key to their team may be the development of their junior point guard and junior forwards.

1) Packard - nice size as a point guard, can score, but doesn't need to score to be efective, gets others involved. Santucci, too much wasted motion, finger pointing when it doesn't go his way.

2) Knox - fantastic player, needs to be a vocal leader this year

3) Winthrop - better passer, shooter than Ofodu

4) Ofodu - better rebounder than Winthrop, lots of energy, turnover prone

5) Moffatt - really not a 5 but can play anywhere and be efective. Should be amongst the best in the league this year

Harrity - you can plug him in just about anywhere, 2-5, and he'll be a handful
