After watching a few D3 High Schools play in early
Tournments around the State, it appears that the
STATE TITLE for DVISION 3 is wide open for the
taking. So. Cal powerhouse, Artesia, lost Renardo
Sidney to D1 Fairfax. Nor. Cal powerhouse, Arch-
bishop Mitty is primed to take the D2 Title. So. Cal
powerhouse, Campbell Hall with Jrue Holiday, may be
a cinch to repeat at D4, but new D4 Nor-Cal entry,
Modesto Christian and St. Mary's of Berkeley could
pose a problem for So. Cal. D5 Defending Champion,
Branson will be in the thick of the Playoffs in the end.

So, who is the D3 powerhouse for the State of California?
Like I stated above, D3 State Title is up for grabs this year
and the next. I believe a D3 Team from the Nor. Cal. will
step up and win State Title this year. I have a few teams in
mind, but I would like to know what the "pulse" is around the
State.

Harvard Westlake with highly recruited Renaldo Woolridge (Orlando's son) should win this division. Santa Margarita might sneak into the State game, but don't count on it.
